The AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference offers an interactive platform for leading experts in diagnostic microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, and public health to convene. This conjoint meeting between AMMI Canada and CACMID draws participants from across Canada and internationally.
Continuing the tradition, the 2026 conference will deliver updates on a broad range of topics to a diverse group of professionals, including clinicians, microbiologists, laboratory technologists, public health experts, infection prevention and control practitioners, epidemiologists, pharmacists, students and residents.

Registration includes the meet and greet reception (Wednesday) and lunch (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), as well as access to all plenary sessions, state of the art clinical lectures, accredited co-developed learning activities, short oral presentations, rapid fire presentations, poster presentations, case report symposium, and an exhibit hall, as well as on-demand access to recorded sessions post conference.

PAYMENT POLICY: Conference registration is not considered confirmed until full payment is received. All conference registration fees must be paid prior to the commencement of the AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference (April 28, 2026). This includes payment for all optional events.
EARLY BIRD RATES: To benefit from discounted rates, payment of early bird registration fees must be received before the early bird cut-off date (March 20, 2026).
STUDENT RATES: To benefit from student rates, a letter of attestation from the teaching institution indicating that the registrant is enrolled in a full-time program must accompany the registration. Please upload the letter as an image or PDF file, or send the letter by email to registration@unconventionalplanning.com.
*RETIRED MEMBER RATES: To benefit from retired member rates, the conference secretariat will verify your retired status within each organization. Retired members are not permitted to claim CME credits for the conference. To claim CME credits, conference registration must be purchased at the member or non-member rates.
QR CODE: A QR Code containing your name, organization, and email will be included on your name badge. Your QR Code will be scanned as you check into conference sessions, and it can also be scanned by exhibitors with your verbal consent.
PHOTOGRAPHS: Photographs taken at the AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference will be utilized in future promotional material that may include print, electronic, or other media including the AMMI Canada and CACMID websites. By participating at the AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference, you grant AMMI Canada and CACMID the right to use your profile captured photographically for such purposes.
HEALTH AND SAFETY: The priority of both AMMI Canada and CACMID is to create a safe environment at the conference. All aspects of the conference will be conducted following local public health guidelines in place at the time of the conference.
AMMI Canada, CACMID, and Unconventional Planning are the ONLY official housing agents for the annual conference. No other housing company, travel agent, or third party agency is authorized to place hotel reservations on behalf of the AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference.

The AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference Secretariat has secured special discounts with Air Canada, Porter, and WestJet for travel to and from St. John's for the conference. To take advantage of travel discount offers, you will need the booking instructions provided in your conference registration confirmation email. Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing, by email to registration@unconventionalplanning.com.
Cancellation submitted on or before March 6, 2026, will receive a 100% refund; cancellation submitted on or before March 20, 2026, will receive a 50% refund; no refunds will be provided after March 20, 2026. An administration fee of $50 will be charged with all cancellations. Registrations may be transferred at any time without penalty. Refunds will be processed after the conference.
